Cancellation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
48 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please cancel or reschedule in a reasonable time frame.
No-shows: Clients are allowed a 10-minute grace period. If you are not present or have not made contact within 10 minutes of your appointment time, you will be considered a no-show. You will be charged the full amount for your missed appointment. Payment is required before services are rendered.
Arriving Late: Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate other appointments following yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session. If you choose to move forward with a shortened session, regardless of the length of treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session price.
Weather-Related Cancellation:
If the roads are too slick or unsafe for the client to travel, we will reschedule your appointment at no additional charge. However, refunds will not be provided.
If the roads are unsafe for the therapist as well, we will either reschedule your appointment or provide a full refund, based on your preference.
We kindly ask that clients notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment due to weather conditions, as no-call/no shows will not be given a refund.
Inappropriate behavior: This is a professional place of business and inappropriate behavior will NOT be tolerated. Any inappropriate conversation or actions will result in the service being cancelled and a refund will not be issued.
